Netflix Chooses Ideal Actor for Bentham in the Hit Series Upcoming Installment
The Secret Organization is set to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, though the major clash won’t unfold until season 3, and a adored, popular member has just been cast.
Netflix announced recently that Cole Escola has joined the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Bentham. Bon Clay can use their power to transform into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve laid a hand on with their dominant hand. The actor, who is gender non-conforming and uses they/them pronouns, will play a rendition of that role reimagined as non-binary, as opposed to as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, as in the initial comic and anime.
Escola will work alongside a number of fresh additions tasked with bringing the organization to reality, including head Mr. 0, played by the seasoned performer, an emerging star as Miss Goldenweek, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who will appear as the ensemble as King Nefertari Cobra of Alabasta.
Though Bon Clay is a important part of the organization, the character won’t make their debut One Piece the third season. With the second season expected to adapt the Little Garden storyline, this represents a notable change in the timing of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could indicate additional alterations to the story’s structure.
Their mix of sharp comedic timing and emotional depth makes them a ideal selection for the character. In addition to their recent voice performance in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and numerous honors for writing and starring in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, emphasizing the adaptability they’ll add to one of One Piece’s highly regarded characters.
The platform’s adapted One Piece show is set to return for its next installment on the tenth of March, 2026.
