The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in a California Car Crash
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The influential game designer lost his life when his automobile collided and burst into flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday, as reported by.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
