Your Perfect Pokémon Tales: Z-A Super Form According to the Zodiac Sign
This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense enthusiasm across the community. Starting with the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers ahead of the title's release, to trainers developing strong views on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to anticipate.
Given many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing unique designs that highlight their personalities, one thought naturally: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.
Aries – Super Camerupt
To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, known for being playful, cheerful, and impulsive. This makes Aries much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which solely erupts when angered. Remain on the good side of both and benefit from a strong partner; if you cross them, prepare to get burned.
Taurus – Mega Heracross
Similar to a loyal Bull, the steadfast Heracross, both in its standard and Mega form, has aided numerous players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the Pokémon and a Taurus are still battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will defend their side to the end. The thing about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed love of snacks. Several past Pokédex entries note their fondness for tasty sap and how it uses its appendage to hoard it everything, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.
The Twins – Super Medicham
Look at this total royalty. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the soul of every party, offering an endless stream of gossip to those who wants to hear. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's very easy to envision Mega Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also states its capacity to predict an opponent's future actions, which seems very similar to a people-smart Gemini.
The Crab – Mega Manectric
Cancer is commonly regarded as the most emotional member of the zodiac, a intense sign known for frequently getting wrapped up in their emotions. Per the official info, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “tremendous quantity of electricity, but it's too much for this Pokémon to fully control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. It is also known for its ability to make a thundercloud over its own self – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.
The Lion – Mega Starmie
Oh, did you think I was planning to select Pyroar for the lion of the zodiac? Besides the reality that it would be far too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Super Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Players were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the same energy a Leo offers to the table. This Pokémon is also rumored to be broadcasting signals from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a show, albeit for extraterrestrials.
Virgo – Super Victreebel
The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with constant acid reflux. The sign famous for being endearingly judgmental is strongly reflected throughout this creature's whole evolutionary chain, from a always surprised face like a Virgo when you inform them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden sends to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” instead of making a plan.
The Scales – Super Audino
Look at this gentle, sensitive being, who employs the sensors on its ears to detect how people are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to maintain the peace, there are numerous Scales who would probably benefit from Super Audino's abilities. Though, to be frank, it would probably just cause them to worry more about everyone else.
The Scorpion – Super Banette
Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly sad origin: Discarded as a toy, it became consciousness through pure resentment and swore retribution on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpio loves karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.
The Archer – Mega Hawlucha
Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a performance. Being a Sagittarius personally, the amount of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly small entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can imagine.
The Goat – Super Absol
Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to predict disasters ahead of time? That exudes the identical vibe as a Goat, who tends to consistently believe they’re right. Interestingly, much like a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Mega Evolution that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Mega trend.
Aquarius – Mega Chandelure
Aloof air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-fire placement that is closest to a fire sign – its counterpart is Leo, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable partners in crime. Super Chandelure's dual Spirit/Flame typing matches perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general intimidating presence is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “draws in negative energy and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
